Joan came here from England with her parents William and Nellie Tovey(Nellies Maiden name was Skinner) They lived here in Rhode Island.... Joan Tovey married William Eaton Maynard Jr.. His parents were William of Connecticut andHarriett Brownell. Joan divorced William sometime during or after the war... She then married A Richard Fitz... He died in 1961 and is buried in Juniper Cemetery in Bristol Rhode Island. I have reason to believe that Joan resided in the follwing towns of RI. Barringto, Providence and Bristol..I also think she married again after the death of Richard Fitz as she would of only been about 44 or 45 years of age.. Is Joan still alive and if so where. If she is she would be age 87.
Could some kind soul look up in Bristol under a Joan Fitz.. Perhaps she had children by richard Fitz who are living today.
I am helping a friend in England to find her cousin Joan wether she is alive or passed away..
