Simeon Brant/Brand b. West Greenwich son of Robert Brand?

Simeon Brant possibly Brand was born about 1750 in West Greenwich. He served in the Revolutionary War and died in Angelica New York. It is thought he was the son of Robert Brand of West Greenwich. I descend from a Simeon Brant who is a generation younger than the Rev. War soldier. Supposedly Simeon had a brother Phineas who was the father of my Simeon Brant? Is anyone working of the Brand family of West Greenwich about 1750? My Simeon Brant moved from Wayne County, New York to Berrien County, Michigan about 1834.
