Quick summary of Samuel Smith's will -- He names his beloved wife Hannah, nephews Samuel, Hiram, Providence, and Ebenezer Williams, all sons of sister Esther Williams; Nieces Mary Comstock, Elizabeth Latham and Sarah Williams, all daughters of his sister Ruth Williams. Wife's son and his ward, Jonathan Salisbury.
From RIVR 14:280 Samuel Smith, late of Johnston, at East Greenwich in 64th year (gazette of April 26, 1800).
I'm researching John Smith who was in East Greenwich during the 1780s and some of 1790s -- not sure if he's related to above, but thought I'd share. Found one source that had Esther Smith marrying a Joseph Williams, seemed to match the above Esther.
