Seeking death information on Adeline / Adele / Delina CAYER, 31 Dec. 1899 and/or her daughter Emelina Cayer LARAMEE on 4 Nov. 1900. My gg grandmother, Adeline Lincourt dite Desorcy, wife of Alexis CAYER, was buried at St-Pie-de-Guire, Yamaska, Quebec on 4 Jan. 1900. The parish record there notes she died at "Arctic Centre" in the United States on 31 Dec. 1899. Since her daughter, Emelina (Melina) Cayer was living with her husband Alfred LARAMEE in Warwick in the 1900 US Census, I suspect "Arctic" is actually "Warwick." The same Emelina Cayer LARAMEE died in "Etat Unis" on 4 Nov. 1900, and was also buried in St-Pie-de-Guire on 8 Nov. 1900. Alfred and Emelina had one known son, supposedly born in Rhode Island in Oct. 1899, Ivan or Yvon Laramee. Emelina was my great grandfather's sister. Thank you for considering this request.
