I am interested in the Covel/Covell Family that lived in Pittstown & Hoosick, N.Y. from around 1786 thru 1815. John Covell brought a large family from Cape Cod, MA after his first wife died in 1776. He remarried in Tiverton, R.I. to Esther ? around 1777- 1783.The family then traveled thru Connecticut stopping for a while in Washington, Conn. where John's son, Benjamin married Sibyl Durkee. The Family moved again and settled in Pittstown & Hoosick, N.Y.
around 1786. Seth Covell married Lydia Sisson around 1790 in Pittstown or Hoosick, N.Y., need information on marriage and family including number of children. We believe that Lydia was daughter of John & Mary (Thurber) Sisson from Warren, R.I., but need information. Richard
