James Nooney, b ca 1720, m 20 Sept 1747 in Providence, Martha (Margaret) Nason, daughter of Robert Nason and Rebecca Day. He was from Dublin/Cork, Ireland and a school teacher, immigrating first to Roxbury/Boston, Mass.
James & Martha are in town records in 1754 of Enfield, Conn., then to Chester, Mass. I'm searching for his parentage and exact place and time of birth. Any information about his years in Ireland or years between 1747 and 1754 in Rhode Island much appreciated.
