Hi Cynthia, I'm not related and I don't know this family. However I do want to recommend that you contact your Uncle as soon as you can and ask him for information. Most people are willing to share, they just need to be asked. I would also contact the Kent County Sheriff's department and ask if anyone remembers your grandfather. The RI cemetery Index lists the following Keeleys: James E. b. 1900, d. 1959 Joseph b. 1892, c. 2 Jan 1902 Josephine E. (Pigeon) b. 1894, d. 1971 Leo J, PFC b. 1921 d. 1944 Mary b. 1894, d. 2 Jan 1902 (curiously the same day as Joseph, above) James, Josephine and Leo are buried in St. Patrick's Cemetery in East Greenwich on 6th Ave. Joseph and Mary are buried in St. Mary's Cemetery in West Warwick. The cemeteries themselves may be able to give you more exact dates and more information.
