Recently 2 Ladies, Researched Hopkington Cemeteries...The original Number of Graveyards in that Village were 34 and Now because of their hard research there has been added 49 more cemeteries....The ladies are Gayle E. Waite and Lorraine Tarket-Arruda....Last week one of my fellow researchers whom frequents the Charlestown area looking for their ancestors told me that these 2 ladies, also did Charlestown cemeteries..and that the Cemeteries that were done there especially on tribal and around lands will not be published for the public to see whom is buried there.......I dont know how true this is but I can tell you if it is this is injust...As we research the areas down that way for ancestors, of whom may have had mixed blood I feel this is very unfair.....We are not in the research to be part of the tribe or their land we just want to know our ancestors and whom they married and where they are buried and where we come from..Thats all.....................Has anyone else heard that this is the case of the Historical Cemetery Projects and Book for Charlestown area....
