West Warwick RITA M. (MOREAU) KEELEY, 75, formerly of Wells Street, a retired legal secretary and bookkeeper, died Wednesday at Eleanor Slater Hospital, Cranston. She was the wife of the late Alfred J. Keeley. Born in West Warwick, a daughter of the late Camille and Roseanna (Fredette) Moreau, she was a lifelong resident of West Warwick. She had been a legal secretary and bookkeeper for the law office of Nathan Spungin for 20 years before retiring in 1990. She leaves a son, Richard A. Keeley in Japan; two daughters, Diane M. Lernieux of Pawtucket and Patricia A. Andrews of West Palm Beach, Fla.; a sister, Emily (Millie) Moreau of West Warwick; and nine grandchildren and a great-granddaughter. She was the mother of the late Robert J. Keeley, and sister of the late Joseph Moreau and Yvonne Colle. A funeral will be celebrated tomorrow at 8 a.m. from Henault- Gallogly Funeral Home, 5 Eddy St., with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9 in SS. Peter & Paul Church, Highland Street. Burial will be in Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery, Exeter. ALFRED J. KEELEY, 74, of Wells Street, a former supervisor at Quonset Point Naval Air Station, died Tuesday at home after an illness. He was the husband of Rita (Moreau) Keeley. They were married for 52 years. Born on Nov. 15, 1926, in Warwick, a son of the late James E. and Josephine E. (Pigeon) Keeley, he had lived in West Warwick most of his life. Mr. Keeley had been a supervisor at the aircraft repair plant at Quonset Point Naval Air Station until 1974. He was an honorary deputy sheriff with the Kent County Sheriffs Association for 25 years. Besides his wife, he leaves two daughters, Diane Lemieux of Pawtucket and Patricia Andrews of West Warwick; a son, Richard A. Keeley in Japan; and nine grandchildren and a great-granddaughter. He was the father of the late Robert J. Keeley, and brother of the late Leo J. Keeley. The funeral will be held tomorrow at 8 a.m. from Raoul G. Henault & Son Funeral Home, 5 Eddy St., with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9 in Christ the King Church, Legris Avenue. Burial will be in Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter. Moreau, 62, of Providence Street, who worked out of the Plumbers and Pipefitters Union, Local 39, in New Haven, Conn., before retiring in February due to illnesss, died yesterday at home. He was the husband of Constance (Theroux) Moreau. Born in West Warwick, he was a son of the late Camille and Roseanna (Fredette) Moreau. Mr. Moreau previously worked for Electric Boat, Groton, Conn., for 18 years. He was an Army veteran of World War II.. Besides his wife he leaves four sons, Maurice and James Moreau, both of West Warwick, Gerald Moreau of Coventry and Alan Moreau of Richmond; three sisters, Yvonne Colle, Rita Keeley and Millie Moreau, all of West Warwick, and five grandchildren. The funeral will be held Friday at 8 a.m. from the Raoul G. Henault & Son Funeral Home, 5 Eddy St., with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:15 at St. John Church, Washington Street.
