Thank you all very much for the help. I appreciate everything you've all given me to go on so far, especially the cemetery listings and the obit. for my grandmother's brother.
I wish you were right about my uncle, and I am going to try to give it a shot, but I don't have my hopes too high. He was in RI about two weeks before my father (his brother) died and he didn't even come to see him, though my mother made clear to him that it was his little brother's last days. Nor did he come to the wake or the funeral, though apparently he did call about a week later to offer my mother his condolences.
All that said, I know I should give it a shot anyway - maybe I'll be surprised :)
Thank you all again for your assistance. I hope at some point I can return the favor!
