I am researching the Flanigan Family . Here are the details that I
have .
James Flanigan b. circa 1840 in Tassan , Co. Monaghan , Ireland
immigrated to America around 1865( don't know what port , poss. Boston
) he settled in Providence , RI .
He married a Mary McQuade on 17 Aug 1869 in Providence .( I do not
have a copy of this marriage , only a date from Ancestry . I found on
Ancestry a death date for a James Flanigan of 1905 . (Not sure if this is
my James or not )
I know they at least 5 children . Catherine , James , Margaret , ???
The daughter Catherine married a man named ADAMS .
The son James Flanigan was in the Spanish -American War .He survived
the war .
That is all the information I have on this family .
