I looked at an 1870 map of Coventry.
On Barbs Hill Rd coming south from the Foster/Coventry town line, the second house on the road on the Coventry side is JW Holloway and was located on the southwest side of the road. This must be the Holloway Place. It was the only property in 1870 in Coventry on Barbs Hill Road with the Holloway name.
It doesn't seem that the house exists anymore. I looked at the Coventry tax site and co-ordinated the addys of the current properties on Barbs Hill Rd. with the satellite view on the MultiMap map site. The closest structure is a house built in 2006 at 388 Barbs Hill Rd.
Try contacting the Coventry Historical Society. They might be able to help with specifics or direct you to another source.

I've sent the 1870 Coventry map through Ancestry's share system but if you've already received a total of 5 "shares" from other Ancestry members, it won't go through. Ancestry limits the # of shares that can go to any one addy to 5 per lifetime. You will have access to the image for a limited amount of time so if you wish to keep it, you will have to save it to your hard drive.
I'll also send it as a file attachment to you just in case.

1850, the earliest date you mentioned shows John W. HOLAWAY, 29y, farmer, b. RI with Phobe Holaway, 50y, b. RI; both enumerated in Foster - 1850 United States Federal Census > Rhode Island > Providence > Foster. Again, no Rodman amongst the neighbors.
1860 United States Federal Census > Rhode Island > Kent > Coventry, Rice City Post Office shows J.W. HOLLOWAY 39y, farmer, b. RI with Robie (Female) HOLLOWAY, 60y, b. RI and Mary D. HOLLOWAY, b. RI. Neighbors Fiske, Dexter, Cory, Wood, Vaughan, Matteson, Vaughan, Co*nell, Vaughan, Horton, Peck, Green, Peck, Your Holloway, Gorton, Love, Case, King, Perkins, Young, Crocker, Love, Dawley, Dawley, Brown.....again no Rodman in the vicinity.
