Searching for any information about Nancy BROWN - her parents and siblings.
Nancy was born abt 1755 in Providence, Rhode Island. Her death date is unknown, she likely died in Providence.
Nancy married Timothy LARCHER 10 Dec 1774, probably in Providence, RI. He died 10 Nov. 1790.
Their children were:
* James LARCHER - B. 10 Oct 1775 Providence, RI
* Nancy LARCHER - B. 20 Sep 1779 Providence, RI
I have much information on the LARCHERS, but know nothing about Nancy BROWN'S family. Because there were many BROWN families in the Providence area during her lifetime, it has been difficult to know which line she belongs to.
Another interesting piece of information which has not been proved: some researchers say that Nancy BROWN (no dates) was adopted by James BROWN and Ann LEBEAU. It is speculated that Nancy's real father was Edgar DUMAS.
Any information or guidance in researching Nancy's family would be greatfully appreciated.
