Good morning A.J. Again, not being critical of you post, but a vague or "looking for others researching,,,," post is not likely to lead to beneficial responses. The only thing we should ever assume in genealogy is that we are the only ones researching our lines, and post requests for specific records that will further that objective. By the nature & content of our specific request, if anyone else is researching these lines, they will find us. Find your people on the census records first. That gives you more data in which to look for other documents such as vital records. Since you had Junia Mowry on the 1860 federal census in Clinton co, Ia, a good request would have been for the 1850 or 1870 federal census using the information on it in your text. I looked at his household in 1860 and from that information found him in 1850 Providence co, R.I. indexed on Ancestry as Junia S. MOURY. In 1870 Clinton co, Ia. he is indexed on Ancestry as Junia S. MONERY. In 1880 Clinton co. he is indexed as J.S. MOWREY. The 1880 federal census indexes and transcripts are free on line at www.familysearch.org. He is also on the 1856 Olive twp, Clinton co Ia. state census indexed as JAMES Mowry and on the 1885 Ia state census as Junice S. Mowry. I can send you those indexes & census images you do not have if you can, and will accept attachments. I believe the Mowrys I know are descended from Junius. My school buudy is the one who did his family research and I am attempting to get his phone number from his older brother. When I hear from you again I will give you a couple of contacts in the Clinton co. area where you may be able to find his burial location. and perhaps other data. Dick
