Richard, Thank you for your reply. I tried the RI Dept of Correction, the Archives,and Historical Society. After I posted the message, Mr. Barnette at the Dept of Correction tried to help, but his department didn't have the records and anyone he contacted gave him the same run-around they gave me. We were told that even if the records for the early 1900's do exhist it would be too much trouble to locate them.
