Flo,
We found family members (two brothers) listed on the 1910 census for the Sockanosset School for Boys. We want to find out when they were sent there, why they were sent there, and how long they were kept there. We are not looking for anything in the records that the state of RI or the correctional system would be "ashamed of." I went to the sites you mentioned and found an email address for questions about the records. "cmangual@courts.state.ri.us"
Maybe they will be able to help us. If they know where the records are I will post it so that it will help others in their search. Thank you for all your help. Bob
