The Peter Rial in my family was born in 1803 in Somerset, NJ. If so, his father is supposedly Joseph, married to Nary Stryckerm but could be another Peter. He shows up in the 1840 NY US Census, traveling with a Simon S Rial. Peter and Simon both name a son Simon S, also (can be confusing!), then moves on to Michigan for 1870 US Census. Will keep your info in mind. Nancy
