My grandfater was John Rial and was born in Kentucky then moved into Clark County, Indiana. On the 1880 ccensus for Indiana I found a John Rial wife Matilda son F.Benjamin, Thomas daughters Georgia and F.Mary. The Interesting point is this that F. Mary being my grandmother the census taker had the middle intitial listed first. Maybe F.Benjamin is really Benjamin F. Do you think this is your family? if so please send me any info you might have.
