Your post caught my eye!!
I have been trying to find out more about an Isbel/Isabell/Isabella Jester in 1840-41 MS. She was either born 1800-1810 or 1760-1770 depending on whether she is the oldest or next oldest head of household with no adult males in 1840 ... and is thought to have died before 1850.
She got 1841 land patents in MS in the same county as a Rial Isaac Jester who appears to have died by 1850. I suspect that Isabell is the mother of Rial and have been wondering if she gave her son her maiden name.
