Hi Audrey, I descend from Dr Christopher Ribble through his son Philip who married Susannah Surface. Then through their son Crocket who married Emilie Cretsinger. Their daughter Mary Ellen Ribble was my paternal grandmother. Have been to the old Dr christopher's home Sandy Mound in Blacksburg VA and trespassed to see his grave. Its in the back yard of a new housing development now. The original house is still standing and owned by a prof at the university. the earliest record I have of Dr chris is that he came as an indentured servant to a George Syphers who lived in West Jersey.
