We might as well carry on the discussion here. Maybe others will find it interesting. That is indeed exciting news about the church. Doesn't the 1820 census indicate how old James Ribble and wife were? If he is youg enough to be Hannah's brother in that census than he cannot be her father, but I would think the age brackets would rule out one or the other. What documentation do you have for Hannah's sister Sarah. Apparently you don't know where she went or what happened to her. Also, 1868 is early for most newspapers, but you could be suprised. It's certainly worth looking into. I'll keep looking for Hannah as I have been since we first met.
