I have known for a long time that Anthony and Maria had a son named James, but finding James' death and burial place in Crystal Lake , Il led to his estate record and will filed in July 1848 just a week or so before he died. His death is the only Ribble located in that area but his will mentions his wife Abagail and son Anthony. It also mentions a Susan E. Ribble which is either an unmarried daughter or perhaps a daughter-in-law. No trace of where these survivors disappeard to after James' death. James' tombstone says he passed in his 81st year which would mean he was born in 1767. That most likely would make James the oldest child of Anthony Ribble.
