Mrs. Louise Shelton published a book on the Adam Ribble line of KY. I believe that the Jerome Ribble you make reference to could be the Jerome Bonapart Ribble son of William, son of Adam. Following is her reference to this Jerome B. Ribble
5th child of William Ribble and Elizabeth Berkey.
Jerome Bonaparte Ribble b Nov 22 1826. A practicing physician, he went west. He had at least two children: Custis & Ella Ribble
(no further record).
If you feel as I do that this is your guy I can give you more detailed information about this family.
