I can not say for sure yet, but it would be most probable that you are a descendant of John George Ribble (1710) and his son William Ribble and Elizabeth Wickizer. William Ribble moved from NJ, USA to Ontario Canada and settled there. As far as I know, his line is the only one that settled there. It is posible that another Ribble family immigrated much later and settled in Canada but if so I have not heard of any. Do you have any idea when your grandfather was born, or where he was born? DO you have any family member who would know that? If you can learn that information I may likely be able to connect you to John George's line.
