You are right Aimee,
I have a picture of Ramon Alfonso Ribera sent to me by my sister Frances (Doreen), she stated it was given to her by Lovia Rivera, a cousin. The name was on the back side of the photo.Everyone in our Rivera family initially thought he was our Main Ancstor.Who can he be?The photo was done in sketch format, not a regular print. The date is in question.
Alternate information:
I have since found that our Maria Rita Ribera (Maiden name unknown), was a Ute Indian.
Rita's parents ae Alonzo Ribera, circa 1750 and Maria Abeyta Circa 1750 of Santa Fe..
Rita was married to Jose Torres where we descended.
Son was Francisco Antonio Ribera, a Native American Indian.
Maria Rita Ribera/Rivera was also listed as married to Pedro Baca
