My name is Gloria, living now in the United States. I am the daughter of Elivira Ricca, diseaced, Naples, Italy 1960. She married my father, a British officer, in Cairo,Egypt in 1946, and I was born there in 1949 as British Citizen. In 1972, I married John Chamberlin, American Citizen, and became a naturalized US Citizen in 1980. We have two children, John vincent, age 22, and Jennifer Anne, age 14.
My mother was the youngest daughter of five Ricca children: Gabriele, Peppina, Rosa,Anna and Elivira. They had homes in Naples, and built extensively in Marina di Carrara.
Over the years, I have lost touch with the Ricca family with whom I spent my youthful summers! Also, my Italian has gone rusty! However, I'd love to get in touch with anyone who thinks they might be connected.
Sincerely, Gloria Ricca-Thomas Chamberlin
