kim
sorry it took so long to respond
this sounds so much like my uncle joe. i know he had a retail sore in farmingdale, long island. according to my research of the family, joe came to this country with his parents biagio and rosalia and the following siblings: carl, ignatio, tony, lena, frances, gussie, and lucy in december 1906 on the ship Calabria
my father, louie, was born in america in feb 1907. they lived in nyc on ave a for a while then moved to brooklyn on 74th street.

i know that uncle joe was married to a mary and then remarried.

the last time i saw him was at the wedding of the grandson of aunt lucy in i believe 1984.

please post message and let me know your thoughts.

god bless.

gino ricca
