Louise, I can't help much but think we should stay in touch. I'm from a Joseph (Giuseppe) Ricca and Domenica Monteleone, both from Santa Margherita di Belice who came over to US in 1883. There are 2 Sta. Margheritas in Sicily -- are we from the same location? I don't know where Sambuce area is. Joseph's father was also Giuseppe and his mother Marianna Pristia.
Based on the given names you mention, they may not have been closely related (I've got a different set of names: Ignazio, Natala, Anna, Caspare...), but the family may easily be linked.
