Mary,
I know this is an old posting, but hope you're still reachable. I too have Riccas from outside Palermo, but the towns that I can associate with my Ricca ancestors are Santa Margherita di Belice and Salaparuta, Sicily. Did you ever find your family tree at your mother's house? Do these towns ring any bells? If so, would love to hear from you. Thanks.
