Riceman / DePriest in VA

I have a Riceman - DePriest connection in VA in the early 1920's. Clara DePriest married William Riceman in 1922 or earlier. My problem, William is said to have been a Jewish immigrant that tried to have Clara commited, so her father ran Wm off. William is said to have had 2 brothers that came to this country with him from Latvia. All of this information has come from the son of Wm and Clara, things he was told while still a child, so there are alot of gaps and the memory of a child. Well, you can see what I'm up against. If anyone knows ANYTHING it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, LSR
