Starting Sept. 30, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.

Turpin is not my line but my book by Jette list only one Turpin that pioneered Quebec, so that line should be faily easy to trace, I would think. Have you tried to post a query at the Quebec Province forum? Give them all the information that you have and see what your get. I am sure that you must have tried the Turpin forum (if there is one). If not start one up.
Pioneer Alexandre had 3 wives that included a total of 15 children. Good luck, Janet
