Deborah - (1) John Kirkland (b. 1804) and Oma had a son.
(2)William R. Kirkland (b. 4-7-1851 in Swain, NC) married Malinda Tucker in 1852 (b. 1835) They had 3 children before he left her in 1860.
(3)One of their children was Martha Evergreen (b 12-27-1858). Martha married Thomas Benton Baird and one of her daughters was my grandmother;
(4) Gracie Baird (b. 7-14-1891. Gracie married William Evander Minter
