My source for Jean Baptiste Richer is 1851 census that has been scanned and placed on the National Archives site.It shows Jean Baptiste as 46 on his next birthday (born 1805)
as a farmer in Ste.Scholastique,Deux Montagnes,Quebec.Three
sons appear on this census Francois Xavier 1836,Alexandre 1835 and Hercule.Marguerite Messague Laplaine is not on this census and Jean Baptiste has a new wife and two young daughters.
Marguerite's parents were married in 1797 PRDH University of Montreal site.
1881 census show Francois Xavier farming in Ste.Scholastique,Deux Montagnes,Quebec.
1901 Census shows Francois X and Mathilde living in Saint Marie Ward of Montreal,Quebec with two son Dolor(Adelard) and Oscar.
1901 Census show Jean Baptiste as married to Georgina Huard daughter of Dominique Huard and Marie Bornais.

Francois Xavier RicherMay 24,1836
Mathilde Goyer December 26,1840
Jean Baptiste January 19,1877
Georgina Huard January 17,1878
Adelard (Dolor)July 13,1873
Oscar December 25,1881.
Jean Baptiste Richer and Georgina Huard were my husband's grandparents.
