Pierre Gabriel Richer is my newly discovered G-grandfather!

For years I've been searching for info on my maternal grandfather's parents and hit a brick wall. His last name was Richards. There is a gravestone with Richards on it. Only in the past few months did I learn that his father was Pierre Gabriel Richer dit Lafleche and he was descended from Pierre Richer dit Lafleche and Dorothee Brassard. Just wanted to chime in here and say hello now that I know the real last name. My grandfather died before I was born, but my mother said he refused to talk about his family and he insisted they were Irish.
