Hello

I have recently found out who my grandfather was.

He was Frederick George Richer born between 1885 - 1889.

He joined the AIF on the 14th August 1914 in Melbourne Australia. After the war, he came back to Australia and lived in Sydney NSW with his wife until his death in 1935.

His parents were Thomas and Matilda Richer. On Frederick's WW1 service record, it indicates that his father was deceased at the time. His mother was still living. His father was a baker.

In the 1901 census, it lists Frederick as being 17 years of age.

Would like to get in touch with others who may be connected to this family.
