Richers--Canada to Vermont 1900s.

I am trying to help an older friend locate his wife's ancestors and I have had no luck with the censues with the names he has given me. I was hoping some one out there has come across these people in their line. I have a Marie Anita Simone Richer born in Burlington Vermont on 5 January 1926. Her parents were Adelard Richer [21 August 1893 Canada--4 May 1940 Burlington, Vermont] and Laura Lambert [1 January 1897 Canada--10 October 1927 Burlington, Vermont]. Adelard's parents were Joseph Richer and Marie Antoinette Rita [--?--]. I did locate the Lamberts in both 1881 and 1901 living in Chester West, Drummond & Arthabaska, Quebec but couldn't find any Richers who fit the information that I have. I also found the Lamberts after they came to Burlington in 1907--they were in the 1910, 1920 and 1930 census but I again can't find the correct Richers. Thanks for any help you can give me.
