Rickard of Cornwall
My family are descended from the Rickard family in Cornwall.
In the 17-1800s Charles Taylor had an illegitimate child with Anne Rickard and they named it Frederick(I think)Rickard. They later married but their son remained a Rickard. Their son's descendents added an 'S' to Rickard to make our surname Rickards which is what we have now. My aunt has a family tree with all these details but I was hoping to connect with other Rickards that are in Cornwall or Australia that can claim a bloodline from these two lusty Cornishfolk to add to my family tree.
Cheers,
M Rickards, Western Australia
