Sumner RIDEOUT and wife Elizabeth COUCH and especially their daughter:
Sarah Elizabeth RIDEOUT b 1835 d 2 Nov 1902 at Weston, Windsor, VT buried 3 Nov 1902 at Weston, Windsor, VT (Maple Grove Cemetery). Married 1st ___________ DAVIS before 1899. Married 2nd Isaac Foster SMITH (1829-1919) of Weston, Vermont (my great-great grandfather) on 2 Apr 1899, Weston, VT.
There is a Martha Rideout mentioned as an abutter on a deed of land Isaac Smith bought in Weston, VT in 1875 from Sarah Pierce. There might be some connection to this 'neighbor' Martha and his 2nd wife Sarah Rideout...?
Isaac Smith married 3 times and Sarah Rideout was his 2nd wife. I have a picture here of Isaac and Sarah, I believe, but it requires further identification. Can you help?
