In response to E.B. Rideout (The Weatherman), He was my Grandfather's cousin. My Grandfather's name is George Russell Rideout II. He was born in 1918 in Cambridge, MA. and died at age 50 on December 13, 1965. He was married to my Grandmother, Marion K. Rideout. The only information I have is he was my Grandfather's cousin. I can give you the names of my Grandfather's brothers & sisters maybe they can be linked to E.B. Rideout and can provide more information. They were: Edward Malcom Rideout, whom according to my Grandmother was close to E.B. Rideout.
Elita Elizabeth Rideout, Mildred Rideout, and Lilian Rideout, who died as a child from diptheria or measles, my Grandmother was unsure.
If you find anymore information about E.B. Rideout, would you please E-mail it to me. I'm very interested in my family history. My Grandmother just turned 80 and I would like to put a family history together for her 81st birthday.
I know most of the Rideout's in my family came from Maine.
