Hi Mac - I can't give you any information on the Rideout's in Frenchmans Cove but I'm hoping that you have information about my great grandmother. She was Jane Rideout - middle name unknown. She married John Chester King and had a daughter Hazel Elsa b March 1904. Jane Rideout was supposedly born in Fortune - unknown birth date and died in Fortune in 1904 giving birth. However there is no record of her anywhere but especially it's lacking information about Rideout's in Fortune which leads me to think she's from somewhere else. I can't find the birth of my grandmother, Jane's birth or death and very limited information about John Chester King. Based on her husband's birth date of 1882 I'd date her birth somewhere between 1875 and 1887 at the latest. If you have any leads I'd be most grateful. Diane
