The "other Riekes"

Hello everyone,
I saw the reference to the "other Riekes" in the book about the Riekes of Minnesota. I'm one of those "others"! My Rieke family was from Sonneborn, Lippe. They originally settled at Barrington, Illinois, then one branch moved to Iowa & another to Kansas/Nebraska. The rest stayed in Illinois. It's a very large family.
Another cousin has been trying to find the elusive link between the Sonneborn Riekes & those from Alverdissen. They surely must be connected since the towns are close together, but there's a gap in the church records that keeps the link from being closed. There's also another Rieke family from Bavenhausen that I believe is connected to the Alverdissen group, so all these folks could be cousins. Who knows?
Does anyone have any of the Sonneborn people in their trees?
Gloria (Landwer) Scott
