Hello, 3rd cousin 1x removed [per the Family Tree Software].

We are related through:

1. John Riesing 1823-1874
       +Ulricka Odetreich 1824-1894
2. Herman Walter Riesing 1845-1897 [Your line]
+Amelia Florence Holz 1852-1939
3. John Walter Riesing 1873-1939
        +Mary Sybilla Hoefle 1885-1868
4. John Wayne Riesing, Sr. 1911-1979
        +Dorothy Louise O'Brien 1924-1989
        5. John Wayne Riesing, Jr. 1940-
               +Anna Helen Murray
        5. Laverne Harold Riesing 1941-1989
              6. Sean-Paul Riesing
        5. Donald Lester Riesing 1943-1984
               +Doris Ann Riesing 1949-
2. John William Riesing 1852-1902 [My line - brothers]
+ Louise Ritsch

I have quite a bit of information on the family [7 pages Outline of descendents]. This has been a hard family to follow due to spellings: Riesing, Reising, Rising. Someone in California [possibly in Alameda?] gave me some information but wanted no further contact - I can't locate the information as to who it was right now, but entered all the info into my Family Tree program. If you want the information I have, e-mail me. Perhaps we will have pictures to share. Within the past few years, I found a "cousin" who is related through Bertha Riesing.

Nancy Nohl Wisconsin.
