I am searching for the marriage and children of the Rev. Jacob M. RIFE, son of Philip REIF (b. Bavaria). Jacob was b. 11 Nov 1838 Piketon, Pike Co. He was a Methodist minister by 1860 and living in Pomeroy, Meigs County, OH, where he was the first enlistee in the Civil War from that county. He d. 10 Aug 1925 Columbus, OH, and is buried in Union Cemetery.

I do not know his wife's name or his children's names with one exception. His daughter, Mrs. R. M. MCCLELLAND of San Francisco, CA, signed his death record as informant.
