charlie rife 1873-1921 was the son of gordon w. (captain gord) and dulconia gibson rife. charlie married lucy peaks. lucy peaks was born in 1875,and she and her parents were from kentucky. reportly, charlie was killed by his first cousin, lewis gibson, during a family argument. charley and lucy are buried in the noah stewart cemetery located in buchanan county,va. children of charley and lucy peaks=louvenia,apr 27 1895 died o1-05-1975.married noah street.louise 04-06-1897-05-09-1977. married monroe stewart .pricey 1900 married john henry mullens,paris lester,sidney bowers,logan riffe,and andrew baker. george hassell 08-22-1902-06-09-1948 married mamie rife. tennesse 1906 married richard martin. william peter 05-29-1909-10-03-1983 married bessie jane viers,lorraine sturgill. earl 1911 marrie=lindia rowe. alice married =henry barnett,vern hovak***mamie was the daughter of gordon and suzanna crouse rife,
