I found this obituary in the April 12, 2001 Oregonian Newspaper.
MaDella Orlene Rife died April 11 2001, at age 94. Mrs. Rife was born MaDella Pitchford on Jan. 7, 1907, in Portland, Or. In 1989, she moved to Tonasket, Wash.
She was a homemaker and volunteered with the Red Cross during and after World War II. In 1928, she married Leland L. Rife, he died in 1989.
Suvivors include her daughter; Lois Campbell; son, Leland V.; six grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren.
