Samuel Riggs of about 1796

Riggs researchers:
We are still looking for the connection of Samuel Riggs born abt 1796 to the Timothy Riggs of 1723 line. I am sure he will belong there. Several of our Splawns married into this Riggs line. Samuel married Sabrina Splawn about 1820; Anne Riggs married Moses Splawn; and I think Nancy Riggs married a Maybery Splawn, Riggs of the Timothy Riggs line. Not sure if our Samuel was born in TN or one of the Carolinas. This line of Riggs and our Splawns seemed to be moving togther into MO, settling in the same areas. Samuel and two of our John Splawns witnessed a will for a William Riggs who died in 1826 if I remember the year correctly. A lot of circumstantial evidence involved seeming to connect these two lines. Anyone have any new research lately? You can email me direct at hodnett2@msn.com if you would be so kind. Catherine
