Interesting. My James and Jessie Riggs McLean came from Ontario, Canada to Kay, OK about 1889. Jessie's parents- Anthony and Jessie Riggs also came along with younger family. They all later moved to Arkansas City, KS.
The Riggs in my ancestry all had Scottish roots and had came to Canada from Lanarkshire in the middle 1800's.
