Silas A. RIGGS was born on 6 July 1797 in , Lincoln, KY. He died on 8 October 1844 at the age of 47 in ,Boone, MO. He was buried in Riggs Cemetery, Boone, KY. A list of the heirs of Silas Riggs late of Boone county in the state of Missouri deceased viz:
Sally Riggs the widow, James T. Riggs, Absalom AH. Riggs, William W. Riggs, Zadoc T. Riggs, Elizabeth Green wife of Wm G Green, John W. Riggs, Eliza Riggs, Hannah Riggs, Polly Riggs, Young E. H. Riggs, Samual A. Riggs, Susan Riggs, Sarah T. Riggs & Laura B. Riggs, all residing in Boone couty state of Missouri
Absalom H. Riggs one of the above named heirs do hereby apply for letters of administration on the estate of the said Silas Riggs decd and state that the above is a correct list of the heirs of said deceased and their place of residence as far as I know or believe, and further that the said deceased died without a will that I will make a perfect Inventory of and faithfully administor all the estate of the said deceased and pay the debts as far as the assets will extend and the law direct, and account for and pay all assets which shall come to my possession or knowledge
