Starting Sept. 30, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.

Rebecca . . . The Sarah that married James JONES was the illegitimate daughter of Nancy JENNINGS and Griffith RIGNEY. She was not the daughter of Griffith's wife, Lavina (TAYLOR) RIGNEY. Proof of Griffith's parentage of Sarah comes from a deed that names her and her husband as his heirs. Proof of Sarah's mother comes from a marriage bond posted in KY by Enoch C. BROWN to marry Sarah Ann JONES, widow of James JONES, and daughter of Nancy JENNINGS.

I have information on Angeletta and James S. GUINN I will be glad to share. You may message me privately at abertram@hotcom.net

I you put Lavina in the box to the left on main page and more info will come up. let me know if you find this info on family. jean
