this was posted on Genforum.. Put in Jonathan in the little box on the left and read what comes up. I really don't know but hope you can find something that will help you.
copied this note. good luck ,jean

I am researching the Rigney's of Casey County Kentucky and Pittstylvania, VA. I have a Jonathan Rigney (possibly Jr.) that was my husbands 5th great grandfather he was married to Polly ? dont have any dates on them except that a child Joab ( my husbands 4th great grandfather) was born in 1794 in Pittsylvania, VA. Any help on this that can be proven would be great. I do have a lead that has Jonathan Jr.s' father as Jonathan Sr. and a brother Charles Sr. but I can not prove that at this time.
